Provectus Robotics Solutions, working under contract to Ontario Drive and Gear (ODG), developed a high-precision autonomous version of its ARIS robot control system for TerraSmart, a Florida-based leader in solar farm installation and engineering. This version of ARIS utilizes RTK GNSS (real-time kinematic global navigation satellite system) positioning to autonomously drill survey holes within 2.0 cm of the target over varying terrain. TerraSmart realized a tremendous increase in efficiency and accuracy, with the ability to locate 1300 points per day vs. 200 per day from a typical survey crew.
ARIS-HP (high precision) is designed for applications where high positional accuracy and repeatability are required. The RTK GNSS ARIS-HP is now available to all PRS customers as a system upgrade. For additional information, contact us at [email protected].
