PRS has released version 1.4.2 of it's ARIS control software suite. This release adds multiple improvements, including new 2D mapping functionality, and brand new autonomous resupply functionality that will begin shipping with all units starting in Q4 of this year.
PRS took part in a media day at the Canadian Space Agency, where they demonstrated how rover technology was finding applications here on earth. Canadian Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Growth, Navdeep Bains, was on hand to test out the new rover prototypes.
PRS successfully delivered the Small Planetary Rover Platform (SPRP) and the Lunar Rover Platform and Drivetrain Prototype (LRPDP) top the Candian Space Agency for final test and evaluation. The projects were both successes and further enhanced rover technology within Canada.
ODG and PRS participated in underground mining field trials with a client in the United States. The ATLAS J8 robotic system was outfitted with the ARIS autonomy and follow-me software suites, and demonstrated how versatile and useful robotic systems can be used in mining applications.
