Provectus Robotics Solutions was awarded a second contract by Neptec Design Group to provide software components for the Artemis Jr. Rover project. Artemis Jr. is being designed and developed for the Canadian Space Agency to meet the requirements of NASA’s Regolith & Environment Science and Oxygen & Lunar Volatile Extraction (RESOLVE)project. The RESOLVE project aims to demonstrate the utility of “in situ resource utilization” on the moon. Artemis Jr. is being designed for the project as a scaled-down version of Artemis rover using NASA’s design criteria. Artemis Jr. is to be delivered in March of 2012.
